Registration for the 2013 race will open on June 3, 2013.
What is chip timing and how does it work?
Chip timing systems require athletes to wear a small, lightweight chip that uniquely identifies them as they cross strategically placed, electronic mats. Chip timing electronically handles the task of collecting and processing results at the end of the race. Chip timing setup includes timing mats at the start and finish lines. Chip timing will increase accuracy and reduce crowding at the finish line area. The process of matching times to numbers is computerized, minimizing human error. The chips will be the only way to verify each person’s time and how they placed. Clocks will be available at the finish line for all participants to see their time. Results will be posted on our website.
